Once upon a time, meats, nuts, and

vegetables, and fruits. The fine grinder plate, for example, is
great for making baby food.
Clean-up is easy; the detachable
hopper and other parts are dishwasher-safe, and the white plastic
housing can be wiped down with a warm, soapy rag (it is not
immersible). The grinder measures approximately 14-1/2 by 7 by 9
